wow. we kicked out all of the accountants from our office to a shittier office in palo alto. its quiet. my boss "suggested" that i move my seat to one of the now empty cubes. i've moved 4 times since i've been here because of her. i'm turning it down out of silent protest.

something just dawned on me the other day at work. i was meeting one of our new Asset Managers for the first time after phone/e-mail correspondence for the past few weeks. its funny, i could instantly tell from his facial reaction that he was expecting someone older or more "seasoned". i feel like its happened a few times before and that i lose a little bit of cred or authority. its bad enough that i look 22 still. perhaps ill grow my hair longer.

also, an old coworker of mine just visited. he took a job as the director of development for an upscale hotel developer in playa del carmen in mexico. he's got a tan and he lives in a sweet pad overlooking the beach with a jacuzzi on the beach. makes me want to get out of here. now.
